NEW CLASSICAL SOCIETY
Founded in Salzburg in 2025 by Paula Heise and Erik Aren Schroeder, the New Classical Society is dedicated to exploring ways of interacting with the musical past. With special focus on music that engages directly with history — from Mozart's reworkings of Handel to the neoclassical works of Stravinsky and new music grounded in historical styles — the New Classical Society aims to bridge the past and present and sustain a living tradition.
